Obama has been treated with kidgloves thus far...
You are naive if you think the Repubs will not take all these questions about his "friend" and the purchase of his house and other issues that have not even been brought up and run them to death. Bill Clinton is only giving him a small taste of what is to come. If he has a problem now, how will he handle it later?

The Repubs are smart enough not to do it in a "racial" way, although much of it will be perceived that way. First of all, he will be called a "big-spending liberal" and then will be connected to Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and then, he will be swiftboated if he has a big lead over the Republican nominee. They will question his character. They will pat him on the back with one hand and stab him in the back with the other. I hope he is ready for it. We haven't seen anything yet.

He needs to pace himself for the long race - not get all excited and exhausted over the remarks of Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton is doing him a favor. Politics is not beanbags. It's a rough and violent exercise. It makes enemies of the best of friends. It brings out the very worst in people as well as the very best in people. Let's hope Obama is ready for it? I am encouraged that he showed he is willing to fight back but I hope he understands this is a 15-round heavyweight fight?

1. He hasnt a hope, they'll slaughter him

HRC is the best shot, she's tough as nails, she withstands attacks without blinking, I fear Obama cannot hold up to it. First hint of an attack and he crumbles or whines. Do you have faith in that?

2. Who the fuck knows? You don't. I don't.
You know what they say about opinions and assholes, right? Your just expressing an opinion founded on nothing factual. I have no faith in opinions such as yours.

Kidgloves? With much of the country being told he's a Muslim plant while the Clintons are training their fire on him?

4. Unprecedented kid gloves - from Rush to CNN - better than the GOP-ers
here are those media coverage stats:

Obama: 47% positive, 16% negative.
Clinton: 27% positive, 38% negative.
McCain: 12% positive, 48% negative
Giuliani: 28% positive, 37% negative
JDNE

Net numbers

Obama +31
Giuliani -9
Clinton -11
McCain -36

And he thinks he is faced opposition (the Clintons) therefore is ready for the GE....
What he's faced is being on the safe side of a pileon

10. So you think this is as tough as it will get?
Hillary and Bill are tougher on Obama than the Repubs will be? Do you believe that?

11. The first part of your query is the problem I have. WHY do I have to
relive Bill in this equation? And why is he being such a prick? Yea, it's his wife, blahblahblah. Still,I would expect this from a rethug, but not a fellow Dem. And FWIW, I have a feeling Obama has a lot less to cover up than the Clintons ever even thought about.
My sarcastic post was also basically in response to all of your recent negative ones about Obama. You offering advice is laughable on the face of it. That isn't what you were trying to do.

12. I'll admit I am for Edwards...
but I'm a realist. I am not "against" Obama or Hillary. We need to take off our rose-colored glasses - that's all I am saying.
