No one injected race into the campaign.
Let's be clear about one thing. Race has been part of every Presidential campaign in American history starting with George Washington whether it was overtly talked about or not.
Anyone who thinks this is the first time race has been part of a Presidential campaign, or that it wasn't an issue until the candidates finally started talking about it openly, is a moron.

The fact that race sometimes isn't spoken about openly in a campaign is itself a political decision based on racial politics.

2. Oh
the poster with a misnomer name.

Will you cultists get off the racism thing already?

For ME, and many others, Obama's problems are his hypocrisy, his bashing of the liberal arm of the Party, his embracing Republicans for political expediency, and his obvious naivete, shared amply by his supporters.

This Country doesn't need an appeasor. It needs a FIGHTER. Sorry, but that isn't Obama.

And, it has NOTHING to do with RACE!!!!!!!

5. Truth. American know the race of every candidate and...
Each American already knows if the race of a candidate matters to them and why.

8. I was expecting
something more along the lines of, "No, HE started!" followed by "No, SHE started it!" Rinse and repeat.

7. Agreed. De facto racism and sexism.....
One candidate is uh, non-white. Another is a woman. And a third is a "white-guy".

Now watch white people vote for the white guy......and so on......LOL!

Sometimes discussions on this board are comical.
