Today is the day Hillary Clinton loses the nomination
She's down big in national polls, she's going to come in a distant second or third place today, and people are getting sick of the Billary Campaign. Today gets her back on track to lose this thing to Obama or Edwards.

11. She's ahead in that poll.
Edited on Sat Jan-26-08 01:12 PM by TwilightZone
Besides, one day in one poll does not a campaign make.

Now, if you look at all of the polls and not just one you hand-picked, you'll find that she's up an average of eight points:

83. rasmussen, right leaning pollster...but it tis not the national polls
one should look at. It is the state by state polling and if you do that you will see of all the major and middle major states and some states with minor delegates hrc is leading double digits......HRC will win in florida and then on 2/5 she will win at least 15 to 117 of the states.....

54. No doubt
I attended an Obama rally here in Columbia at the Koger center (USC-gamecocks), where the doors opened at 8:45pm, and he didn't speak until 10:30pm. It was over at midnight, but the facility was packed. Even the two upper balconies were full. The line had been wrapped all the way around the corner, and couple of blocks down the sidewalk. There were people of all races there and the crowd was totally fired up, even in 30 degree temps. Volunteers held huge Obama signs at the nearest intersection and MANY people honked their horns to show support. The whole event was just so awsome. Sen. Obama addressed every subject with his unique eloquence and humor. Michelle was so classy and sophisticated. At midnight, when we left, there was such an energizing atmosphere.

85. Seems to me that she's right, at least in a couple of her posts.
Nobody's through after today. The vast majority of delegates are up for grabs, and screw ups or brilliant coverage could propel Edwards into the #1 spot. Or Obama. Or leave HRC there.

On the other hand, HRC is currently the person to beat, and there's no great evidence that she's beaten.

The two statements aren't contradictory, nothing in either one entails that the other is false, so it's possible for them to both be true. I think they are both true, or at least likely.

And I have no favored candidate. I see big drawbacks with each of them (and some pluses, to be sure). Don't have a primary where I live until March, don't intend to do much campaigning for any candidate.

I see you are posting one poll when there are many to go by. (The one that makes your canidate look a bit better) hmmmmmm.

This has gotten so silly with everyone (including myself) throwing up polls and quotes and he said she said's.......None of what we are posting or saying is making a difference to the outcome is it? We just have to wait and see.
And pray that come next year we are not under 4 more years of RePug's control.....

Love one another!

how about a little truth squading here?

This race will not be decided after Super Tuesday by either Obama or Hillary. That is FACT ( I know you are uncomfortable with that word ).

That leaves plenty of time for the Rezko matter to get full exposure, and for Hillary to antagonize voters.

Fortunately, that leaves plenty of time for the best debater to get full exposure of himself and his message.

Guess who?

42. Ooohhhh Wolsh, you're such a joker!!!!!!!!
Obama will easily win today, Hillary will win a big portion of the Feb. 5th states.

Let's talk Feb. 6th, by then we'll have a better idea who's going to be our nominee.

80. Only one of those was a "prediction", and so far that has held true
She has yet to win the most delegates in any state.

66. They did a good job of keeping it updated during the '04 campaign.
I was hoping it would be a good source again this cycle, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

61. I know one thing. Bill came off as totally bizzare in the CNN video
a few days ago. "Barack put a hit out on me????" Wtf was he smoking? I want some of that.

Some of the Shrillaries actually think that was a good thing. :scared:

74. These shamefully behaving Lee Atwater descendants have beaten the RACIST AND GENDER divisive horses
to death.

Give up on it - The American People have pulled off your masks of unbridled arrogance.

May the politics of "divide and conquer" through both RACE and GENDER baiting die a long over-due death.

God Bless Obama and all the "UNITY" he is capable of bringing to The American People. The People who struggle with children's health care and mortgage payments, not the BLOATED *leaders* shilling for the ROYALTY within the entrenched "old guard" of the DLC's RULING CLASS.

May your disgusting RACE and Gender baiting "dirty tricks" continue to fall on deaf ears. ;)
