Edwards won the white vote
According to the CNN exit poll. 38.8% to 37.1% for Clinton. So it appears even whites are getting sick of Clinton's conduct over the last few days. Not surprised.

2. Too bad voters under thirty stay home on election day.
American Idol is a strong pull.

15. That's what happened in 2004.
Primaries were a surge in youth vote. GE, not so much.

19. Actually, young voters did vote heavily in 2004.
Problem was, every other group also did the same.

4. I'm sorry I have no idea how you can say anybody gets more excite over a primary
than the General Election. In fact, now that they have been introduced to the voting machine, nothing will keep the away in Nov

18. Unfortunately, a lot of them do stay away on
election day. It has always happened. They start out excited and by election day they are bored or have moved on to other things. I hope not this year. The old geezers a lot of people are making fun of tend the be the most dependable voters come election day.

6. That's what you think.
If Obama can get them out to a primary, the GE will be a breeze.

8. Hmmm, they must've voted here to register in the poll
Oh and a big fuck you comes from this under 30 voter who doesn't give a shit about American Idol and doesn't know anyone who does. 14 year old girls are not eligible to vote so it's a moot point.

Not all young people are vapid, and not all old people are pillars of wisdom. :eyes:

24. Just becaues a candidate is young
doesn't mean he will represent the interests of young people. Obama is no different than the young corporate honcho on the rise who steps on everyone as he climbs the ladder.

The reason people thought they didn't was because every other demographic voted heavily as well.

14. Well OF COURSE blacks would get disgusted by Clinton lately
But even whites are too. Hardly a racial thing. This white has been extremely disgusted by Clinton, but I was never going to vote for her anyway.

29. It'll be interesting to see where that white vote goes in other states
since Edwards doesn't have much support beyond South Carolina and Oklahoma. Will it go to Obama or Clinton?
