I for one still appreciate the Clinton Presidency and all the social and service work they both have done, in and out of public office, for so many and continue to do.

6. Telcom. Act of 1996, Welfare "reform", NAFTA, GATT, Defense of Marriage Act,, DMCA...
Don't get me wrong, there's a lot I like about Bill -- he balanced the budget, passed the Family Medical Leave Act, and expanded the EITC, for instance -- but as president, he passed some of the most anti-democratic, anti-progressive, anti-labor legislation ever. I once heard someone describe Clinton as "the best Republican the Democratic Party ever elected", and I think there's a lot of truth there. We're still dealing with the economic, social, and political legacy of the awful, anti-progressive bills he turned into law.

7. Punished? What the heck is punished?
The man has a net worth of $55 million, is famous and popular. It's some sort of horrible punishment to not have your wife win the nomination for President? Most of the rest of us somehow manage to live with that fact in our own lives.

I'd be more than happy to have 1/100th of that punishment, or even half of that.

9. Oh, Senator Clinton is still the frontrunner for the nomination
The punishment is that somebody else is daring to RUN, not that she won't get the nom. The punishment is that the nomination is not being handed to her!

It's a fucking amazing worldview, isn't it?
