2. Is that the cute new thing you anti-Clinton folks are doing now?
Referring to Senator Clinton as the "Clintons"?

Cute.

5. The Obama technique is clear: make something up about Hillary. Ignore all debunkings. Repeat.

12. For example--if you hear someone talking about race in the election, it's always the Obama people.
Edited on Sun Jan-27-08 09:02 AM by Perry Logan
If you listen, you'll notice it's rarely the Clinton people who are talking about race in the campaign. It's almost always the Obama people, accusing the Clinton people of dirty politics, completely ignoring all the times this notion has been debunked. That's classic dirty politics.

14. I do believe there is a Tx for selective hearing loss like yours.
Who the hell whipped out the Jesse Jackson reference while he and his wife snuck out of SC like debtors avoiding their creditors? Obama?

Who deliberately tried to taint SC as a "BLACK" state, deliberately trying to tie Obama with race to help Hillary (presumably) with the white racist vote in the south and midwest?

give me a break. and open your eyes.

22. well, it gave me quite a chuckle....
I just don't know what planet you have to be on to still support these people? My grandmother used to tell me (and I hear Randi say it a lot): "when someone shows you who they are, believe it".

8. Its a favorite phrase of Rush Limbaugh as well.
Something that surprises me less and less on this website.

This week I have seen Vince Foster stories floated around this website and I saw CNN referred to as the Clinton News Network among other things.

Sometimes I feel like I've been transported to Free Republic circa 1998.

11. And that may be precisely why Obama loses
His campaign has portrayed the Clintons and other people their age as old, washed-up, no new ideas, useless, last century... you get the idea.

He may win the youth vote with that. But we boomers are large in our number and reliable in our voting habits. And this may come as a shock to you, but 50-60 isn't all that old.

13. Let's hear it for the old geezers! A-yup. We vote.
Edited on Sun Jan-27-08 09:07 AM by robbedvoter

Just got some angry e-mails from many of my fellow oldies (we marched together back when). They are now all Hillary voters - they're fed up with the insults.

16. Sorry... I'm an old geezer (63) that "marched way back when" also
The fact that former anti-Viet Nam activists are supporting the pro-Iraq Invasion and Occupation candidate (matter of record) against the anti-Invasion candidate (matter of record) is something I would not expect. Maybe you all weren't that serious about being anti-war back in the day. I don't know.

Me... I'm supporting the anti-war candidate: Barack Obama

17. Fairy tale
Barack has not voted any differently from Hillary since he's been in a position to do so.

Sure, he claimed to be against the war in 2002, but then, he claimed to be against funding it in 2004. As long as keeps voting more money for the war, he's no anti-war candidate.
