I made the argument yesterday that there probablu is no penalty in campaigning there once the SC polls closed....but what is the tactical value in going the day of the election?

Solidarity with the disenfranchised? A noble ideal I suppose, but there is little value in watsing a day campaigning out west or in Missouri Paticularly when she is supposed to be winning the Beauty contest in Florida easily.

Again, I don't think she should be penalized for camaigning in Florida at this point. I just do not see the value. Is ti free press? Is it trying to bait Obama into a debate on Florida?

I don't see the tactical value here.

1. Me too. I'm puzzled by it. Oh, well let her spend time on the beach. Go to a spa. Spend the week.

6. OK so she is going after the poll close. now it is more clear.
She is likely to win the beauty contest and is going there for a victory celebration. that make a lot more sense....I sure hope she wins.

4. I meant a potential Obama bump coming out of SC
He will get some but I don't thin it would flip the results in Florida.

5. She looks desperate

The media will mention that she's won Florida (looks to be the case) but it's worth zero delegates and can hardly be called a contested race. The media will then spend most of the time talking about the GOP primary, which is hotly contested and will probably cause at least one candidate to drop out. Like it or not it's what happened in Michigan and it what will happen again on Tuesday.

8. The story Tuesday won't be the Democratic primary, it'll be the Republican one.
So while Clinton is speaking about a pointless victory to a few thousand supporters, McCain/Romney/Giuliani/Huckabee will be dominating the airtime.

9. She is trying to get Michigan's delegates. She wants to make it look
like she's a champion for poor disenfranchised souls EVERYWHERE, to blunt criticism of her Michigan tactic.
