1. It's not a crime, it's just meanspirited, childish, classless and demonstrative of
a poor political acumen.

Not a crime, though.

Ted Kennedy got it. His chumpy new pal didn't.

2. and the posting on this subject, over and over, is not childish?
None of us was there! And we say it from a camera overhead.

Things always look different from above then they do face to face. What a gross overreaction that smells like a Clinton swiftboating with media friends just like Rove. They must be desperate.

7. Well, you're contributing to that, aren't you?
If you dislike it so much, use that handy ignore thread feature.

And near as I can tell, no one here in the DU chattering classes is running for President or any other office--we aren't held to the same standards that public figures are. See, we're ALLOWED to be childish--we're not going to be dealing with world leaders on the global stage, now, are we?

Most of the reportage of this incident is from the press who were there. I suggest you take it up with them if you object to their coverage and their perspective on the issue. They reported what they saw, and the reports are pretty consistent.

8. I'm sure it wont influence anyone's idea of who Obama is outside GD:P.
Probably.
