Edwards event in Jefferson City, Mo today? My daughter is going.

2. She missed the one last night

but is going today come hell or high water. She saw and worked for him 4 yrs. ago when we lived in Wa sttae. He spoke in Tacoma and she was on stage with him and hugged him. She is married now and they are stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood. Where are you located?

3. Hi, ashling. I'm proud of your daughter. No matter which candidate

people are for, I love it when the show up at campaign events. I've only made one but would love to get to others.

I had a 6th grade teacher -- may she rest in peace -- who encouraged us to go hear public figures. Some of us said, "But my parents are for the other guy."

She forcefully explained that it was important to go hear politicians no matter whether you agreed with them or not. That was a lot of high-voltage grown-up talk for us to absorb at age 12, but what a valuable lesson.
