28. Edwards was no Liberal - but his Hair WAS Incredible
Edwards Co-Sponsored the resolution that got us into Iraq. Billary Clinton supported it too, to "look hawkinsh" for her white house run. Obama opposed the war from the start - even when it was 70% approved.

Edwards supported Bush on 'Bankruptcy Reform' that hurt the poor "No Credit Card Company Left Behind" - Billary Clinton voted for it too - though she "hoped it would not pass". Obama Opposed it and voted against it.

But I have to give credit to Edwards for "converting to liberal views" and his focus on poverty.

And DAMN BUT I DO LOVE HIS HAIR TOO!!!

8. Obama supporter here BUT I LOVE John Edwards too
I remember last year I was so torn between him and Kerry and I voted for Kerry! :( I voted for Kerry because we were at war and everyone was saying how a "war hero" would have a better shot. I truly regret it now. Kerry hurt my heart after that election. I gave everything (hours and hours of phone calls) and he still lost. Then the mess in Ohio. I wish I had gone with my heart and voted for Edwards. This time around I will go with my heart but it is with Obama this time around. Every result night I ALWAYS hope for Edwards to come in 2nd (or if Obama loses..for Edwards to win). I can't believe I'm saying that because in the beginning I said I would support Hillary too. However, I was so offended as an African American to the way they have treated Barack that I absolutely can't support her. Anyway, if Obama does not win the nomination I hope by some miracle that John Edwards does.

30. Obama all the way!! Edwards was a good man
Edwards is a good man - but Vote your heart my friend!!

Obama = LANDSLIDE - if he gets the nomination....

Edwards can be effective as the "Al Gore of Poverty"

Billary Clinton was DISGUSTING in the way he/she (they are one man/woman sandwich) race-baited people before SC - appealing to the lowest form of Bigotry and Fear - trying to "tarnish" Obama as the "black candidate" - then pander and pay old friend black ministers to "get out their flocks" -- well the flocks sure got out - and they put Billary in her/his place!!!

The BILLARY MACHINE - is the past. and represents all the worst of politics.

I'm a white 39 year old and MY 73 YEAR OLD MOTHER AND I - who loved Kucinich - BOTH LOVE OBAMA.

He is not some compromise - he is quite simply the greatest candidate for president in My LIFETIME - and probably 3rd best in my Mom's lifetime.

We should all be incredibly proud of Obama - he makes us proud to be Americans again.

That's the way I feel about it. A re-frosted edition of what we've been given ("Given", because it sure isn't what we wanted) of the same corporate-backed crap we've gotten since '92. :grr:

Edit to add..... If we end up with McVain, remember who beat ALL GOP possibles according to surveys! It wasn't one of the contenders for American Idle!

Edwards is one hell of a guy...wants it to be a clear choice and will not cause there to be a split in the party.

If you're not passionate about the other two, then vote for him anyway.

Send a message to the other two... and hopefully even get John some delegates.

42. John Edwards a class act and a kind soul ......
In late summer or early fall I went to an Edwards event in Columbus @
a union hall. Edwards was late so I got up by the rope line that was close to the
stage so I could see him coming in and when he left. Well, he shook my
hand and then went on to give his stump speech all nice things but that
is not the point of this post.

After John was done talking and as he made his way out of the building he
shook hands and signed pictures for different people and then John met
this elderly women who couldn't get up out her chair. John got down so they
were on the same eye level to talk. Well the women got so overwhelmed
she started to cry and then John reached out and held her face in his hands.
He thanked her for coming out to see him and spent a few minutes just
with her. John also waved away cameras too.

That happened 10 feet from me. America is a better country because of John.
