16. Dr. Phil got great press too--but he turned out to be a media whore in the end.
Just sayin.

6. Would only be fitting
Seeing that one of her houses is in Santa Barbara.

All Californians that can go to an event with Oprah and Obama should. In South Carolina 30,000 people came out including my son and I and it was the most beautiful site I had ever seen in SC.

10. I was hoping she would help out
but I know she is so busy. She tapes two shows a day. Then she said she heads upstairs to deal with her magazine. Then she deals with her satellite radio shows. Then I read that she has her own televison channel now (it will be called OWN..Oprah Winfrey Network). So I figured she would be too busy to help out. I knew she was on break from the show when she helped last time. ANYWAY, Oprah can't make people vote for him. HOWEVER, if she can get them in the room I think he can seal the deal with at least some of them..... If he can get a percentage of them that will help........

9. Why does a MAN need a WOMAN to stick up for him?
If he can't fight it on his own...is he a strong leader? Seems those were the questions asked when Bill helped Hill. So, as usual...it's only a good thing if Obama does it and it's always evil when Hillary does the same.
I just don't understand many Obama supporters thinking!  :argh:

11. Oprah is not there
to FIGHT for him! She is there "endorsing" him. People did not have a problem with Bill being there (at least I did not). I had a problem with him (as a former president)using code words and outright lying about Barack's record so that they could win. I have never said a word about him supporting his wife. When I saw the clip of him today I thought FINALLY the Bill Clinton I know is back! He was being supportive and saying why we should vote for his wife. He wasn't playing attack dog. There is a difference.

14. Let's see...
It makes sense for Hillary to use her most powerful public weapon, a President who happens to be her husband; yet, Barack shouldn't use a fairly equal weapon BECAUSE SHE IS A WOMAN? Jesus, this is like arguing about who used the most nuclear bombs in WWIII.

15. You've got that all wrong!
Oprah (a woman) was helping Obama get elected.
Bill (a man) is helping his wife get elected.

No one complained that Obama couldn't win the election on his own without getting help from the most famous beloved person in the US.

Everyone complained when Bill helped Hillary and said she couldn't win it on her own and needed Bill's (a man) help..inferring she was too weak a woman to be president. That's a very sexist philosophy.

But not one person suggested Obama wasn't manly or strong enough to win on his own.

I'm just saying that it's hypocritical to have criticized Hillary...but that's par for the course on DU and throughout the MSM. That's IRRITATING
and I rest my case. Bye

13. OMG..I just thought of something...
Oprah is really, really good friends with Maria Shriver (also a Kennedy). What if Maria joins the rally?????? Yeah, she is first lady of CA but she has never once tried to pretend she was not a democrat. Arnold always jokes about their differences (him being right! LOL). Now that would be really cool if Maria joined in...
