Sounds like a good solution to me.

The state’s leaders could decide to hold an alternative process — like caucuses we hear — sometime later this winter/spring. (Imagine yet another vote in Florida!) If it were held within the accepted time frame of all the other state’s primaries, those delegates would be recognized.

1. no FL can't..the FDP was offered that last Aug..plus $800,000...and FDP said no
they would have had to have held the Caucus after fed 5th..and fdp said np..

2. At least it will help diffuse some of the anger many of us have here in FL
It's not the fault of the voters and not fair that we be penalized for stupid decisions made without our consent. A caucus with delegates that will mean something would be a good thing. Would that mean we could write in our choices - -by then we'll probably all be so sick of the Obama- Clinton merry go-round, writing in Al Gore would be a huge relief and a signal to the DNC of what many of us, truly believe makes the most sense for a winning candidate. I'd be fine with Gore - Obama 08- I know many others who feel the same way.
