I got to meet Obama tonight
He appeared in KC and I was invited to sit on the podium directly behind him. Afterward I got to meet Kansas Governor Sebelius, Senator Claire McCaskill and Obama. He's downright skinny, and very handsome.

I took some photos but because the news lights were right in my face they turned out kind of crappy because of the lighting. But here goes:







And here he is at the end with Governor Sebelius and Senator McCaskill:



Nice crowd and they roared throughout his speech. They all came back to our little group and couldn't be nicer. Fun night, and today is my birthday to boot - it was a great way to spend it.

When he came by my sister leaned up while she shook his hand and whispered, "please make Governor Sebelius your Vice President!" She's a Missourian but of course hates her Rethug governor. He laughed and said, "Okay, I will!" He was so nice and didn't seem a bit tired after a full day of campaigning.
