Some GOOD NEWS about the Edwards drop-out...it's stopped the Mitt-A-Thon
We complain when some story pops up out of nowhere and saps the energy from the dems. Well, the day after the Republicans held their noses and gave McCain a win in Florida, the media love-fest for Mittens and McCain has been knocked off the news and they're all talking about Edwards and where his support will go.

Thanks for a great campaign, John. You stayed above the fray.

1. It is the
most fascinating primary season that I can remember. Things are picking up in speed.

5. But Where We are Speeding Towards is NOT Where We Want to Go!
Our best won't run. The best of the rest dropped out.

We are now down to two unelectable candidates.

The Repiglicans will be running McCain, and he will most likely be the next President.
He will probably pick Huckabee as VP, and Huckabee will probably be President in a year or two after McCain succumbs to old age and the stresses of office.

"Fascinating" is not the word I would have chosen. "Depressing", "Terrifying", or "Disgusting" seem closer to the mark.

2. I find it more than a little humorous (with a lot of bitterness thrown in)
that now the fucking MSM can talk about Edwards and what a great guy he was and how wonderful his message was.

The corporate whores who own those channels must be breathing a huge sigh of relief.

3. yep, he's gotten more air-time in the past 10 minutes than in the whole last week.
And they're all saying what great things he brought to the campaign. But not last week, when it could have helped.

4. It's pretty damned frustrating
He's been completely ignored and now the media finds THIS to be more newsworthy than his message. But still...it's been nice that they all STFU about Mittens and McCain.
