I think David Bonior is John's Campaign Manager, while Joe Trippi is Chief Strategist.

God I'm really hoping he's not signaling a deal with the Clintons.

16. MSNBC just reported that JE called Hillary personally to let her know
that he was dropping out this morning. I'm wondering this now too since they had the chat in the back room after the debate last time.

... when Edwards suddenly announced he was returning to New Orleans for a speech on poverty, and canceling his campaign events in Alabama and Georgia.

So perhaps Trippi was reading into that?

20. I think that John Edwards was an honest
candidate. He did not catch fire so he is going to stop banging his head against the stone wall. Who he decides to back is his business. I don't think that Edwards is a back stabber or dealer. I am sorry he is going but all the stuff on these pages did not materialize into money the mothers milk of campaigns. I don't think there was a deal.
