I think something weird happened with Edwards yesterday evening or last night
Edited on Wed Jan-30-08 10:30 AM by karlrschneider
I was at the Tulsa airport yesterday...let's see, 24 hours and 35 minutes ago when his G4 landed. I saw him get
out of the plane and leave for the rally and noticed one of the pilots was a guy I used to know pretty well...I
talked with him for about 20 minutes while they were buying fuel, he said John was in good spirits and cautiously optimistic...no mention of maybe dropping out. This was REAL sudden...:wtf:
edit: I see I'm not the only one..

1. One worries about the lovely and graceful Elizabeth.
I hope I am wrong, but that seems the one thing that would stop that man at this point.

3. He came to Minnesota last night after Tulsa for a rally.

A big, enthusiastic crowd came out in subzero weather to see him. And there was NOTHING in his remarks that suggested in the slightest that he was not intending to continue. He talked about the caucuses next Tuesday, asked everybody to go and vote for him, all the stuff you'd expect a committed candidate to say. This was at 8:00 last night. There's all this enthusiasm and excitement, a bunch of union people waving signs, everybody's all fired up...

So I get up this morning, check out DU and he's dropped out??

WTF?

5. They stopped in Jeff City, MO between Tulsa and MSP, had a good
crowd there too, on short notice. I admit, I'm baffled.

4. Same thinking here also. Maybe he was promised a place in the
HC or BO cabinet where he could use his legal knowlege,& fire-in-his-belly compassion for America to the best possible use.
I would hope that either of the two left standing see the enormous vision and sense of fairness that John Edwards has, as an asset in the mending and healing of this country.

He will be a benefit to anyone who brings him on board. I hope either are smart enough to see this and carry him along. He is golden and has an enormous and loyal following.

8. He is more similar to RFK than JFK. His passion is genuine.
He would be the only AG that could bring fairness and faith back to our America.
His message on the campaign trail has hit home to many and I will miss him.
Sad to see this happen.
Hope Elizabeth is doing well.
I am worried about her today.

7. I keep asking this, I hope to God it isn't Elizabeth
This is so sudden and baffling. Didnt he say he's staying till the end come what may??

Has anyone, anyone, even the MSM established anything about Elizabeth??

9. 13 hours ago, according to another thread
Joe Trippi left a twitter that strange things were going on. If that tells anything, I don't know.
