Please let the Edwards supporters mourn in peace
Trying to push them towards your candidate right now may only push them away. They have invested their heart, soul, time and money into his campaign, and they need time to come to terms with this ending. They will decide in time who they support. And I say this as someone who supports another candidate.

3. Thanks so much
I really appreciate that.

And besides the habit I have of picking the candidate that doesn't win maybe Obama and Clinton supporters should lobby against any support from me!

5. I am mourning with them
I met John Edwards during the Kerry campaign.

I was standing in a long line of people that wanted to shake his hand and he shook mine!

I was a big Edwards fan and will remain one. He is decent and honest and really cares about this country.

 for me and I  for America

John Edwards will continue to do GREAT deeds for this country.

My heart goes out to his lovely family as well.

They represent all that is good about America and the World.

8. I agree
Today is not about who benefits from John Edwards dropping out, or if Edwards people should join Clinton or Obama. Today is about examining the Edwards message and example and applying it to the growth and strength of our party. Today si also about showing how much the Edwards people have brought to the DU debate and how they will continue to shape our ideas and agendas.

As a HRC supporter I know exactly how important John Edwards and John Edwards democrats are to the process and future of our party and goals. This is only the beginning of the edwards movement.

10. I agree as a former Deaniac
and emphathize with Edward's supporters. I took me a while to back Kerry, and the last thing Clinton/Obama supporters should be doing is trying to garner Edward's supporters. Let them have their grieving process and leave them alone.

Btw, Edwards was a wonderful candidate.
