If you want to know where most of Edwards support goes, here is all you need:
Obama wins with "conservatives," over-$200,000 income, once a week church protestants, and people who think the economy is "good."

4. Well first off not an Obama supporter here
I may support HRC, was an Edwards supporter but that stuff you mention makes no sense to me.

Obama has not said the economy is good, hes certainly not a conservative- Look at his liberal rating-nice progressive voting record. Also whats wrong with people who go to church once a week? As for over $200,000 income-should we be excluding rich people from our party? I don't get your point.

15. I think most Edwards supporters are looking for more than race and gender, but
perhaps some do believe that such is required to win an election.

value electability, and believe whites are more likely to be elected than blacks.

34. Laughable at best
I suppose it wouldn't hurt to educate yourself beyond what you want to believe. You might be surprised that this man actually has positions in line with what we would want in a candidate.

So what if he "inspires" people? Inspiration is what we need to deliver results.

(well, really, I'm a 24/7 church Protestant), even the same kind of Protestant as Obama. But I'm still undecided. And likely to stay that way for a good time more.

28. this former Edwards supporter goes to Obama
We are retired blue collar. Our income is $50,000. I attend church several times a week, volunteer at a shelter and a food bank and I can identify with Obama because I've spend years as a community organizer and religious social service worker. I'm a third generation Democrat. Of course I'll support my party's nominee but I'll caucus for Obama and I'll campaign much harder in the fall if he heads up my party's ticket.
