Glenn Beck: John McCain “is more dangerous than Hillary Clinton.”

On Glenn Beck’s radio show this morning, he went so far as to say John McCain “is more dangerous than Hillary Clinton.”

On her show, Laura Ingraham repeatedly ran clips of McCain saying that Clinton would make a good president.

On the Web, Michelle Malkin (http://michellemalkin.com) sized up McCain’s approach to conservative Republican like this: “Insult the base, trash the base, and pay lip service to the base only when it suits his needs.”

A conservative group called Citizens United Foundation has launched a television commercial that slams McCain as being a liberal with a record similar to Hillary Clinton’s. Check out this hard hitting ad here: http://www.cupvf.org.

That ad was highlighted on Redstate.com, a popular conservative website, as an explanation what McCain worries Republicans so much.

Too bad McCain didn't go AWOL like George Bush, or collect 5 military deferments like Dickie Cheney

If so then the Repulbicon Chickenhawk Propaganda Claque -- Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly etc. etc. ad nauseum -- would bow down and kiss the ground he walks on. They loves them their own chickenhawk kind.

McCain wants to continue the war in Iraq. That's more dangerous than Senator Clinton's ideas.

Senator Clinton's idea is to triangulate into public opinion, which is overwhelmingly opposed to the war. That will lead to withdrawal and thus makes her less dangerous than McCain. She's still dangerous in that her reasoning involves her personal popularity, not what is best for the country. Fortunately for Senator Clinton, withdrawal is both popular and best for the nation.

And Beck finally got it right on something. If you want more of the same, McCain's your guy. If you want a more diplomatic America, and want our troops to come home safely, vote DEMOCRATIC.
