New Jersey Senate President Robert Codey to Endorse Obama
http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2008/01/codey_to_endorse_barack_obama.html

"Senate President Richard Codey, widely considered the most popular elected official in New Jersey, will throw his support behind Barack Obama's presidential campaign on Thursday, three people with direct knowledge of Codey's plans said today.

Codey had been backing John Edwards for the Democratic nomination until Edwards dropped out of the race today, six days before New Jersey holds its primary on Super Tuesday, Feb. 5.

Codey plans to announce his support for the Illinois senator during a 1 p.m. news conference in West Orange."
