JANUARY 30, 2008--The day the corporations won.
No matter which corporatist wins at the conventions and in the general "election," we now know without a shadow of hope that the next president will serve corporate interests above all else.

2. If you put all the hope of fighting the corporations in one man,
they had already won.

Edwards campaign was an inspiration to those of us who believe in People. And it is up to us to pick up where he left off and keep up the good fight.

Edwards proved the fight can be made on a Presidential Campaign. But, he is just one fighter among 300 million People. Hold your head high with pride at his ability to change the discourse of this race. Obama and Clinton have taken hold of MANY of his ideas, and if they are smart they will take on more.

I salute you Mr. Edwards. Well done!

7. My hope is in this party, too. It has to be.
Where else to go?

We just need to keep up the pressure. If 50% of the Dems in government stand for us, we have a chance.

3. No, we don't.
Got to love the absolutism in today's campaigners. They don't know what the word "party" means.

5. I know what "party" means.
"Party" is what I'll be doing instead of working for a candidate this year.

9. When it comes to corporate bribes
You can't be a little bit pregnant. I know what party means, as a matter of fact I used that word in a google search today: "Green Party, Progressive party"

8. I would take it all the way back to that day in December of 2000
when the Supreme Court decided the American People's voice shouldn't be heard, it's all been bread and circuses since then.

19. Yes, that...but I pin the date as October 1980
The "October Surprise" led to Reagan's victory over Carter...it's been a losing battle ever since.

10. Perhaps Edwards and Kucinich can get together and share funds and concepts.
Powerful persons within the system are an important thing...

12. We knew it was coming but they would throw "bones"...like petitions/faxes and e-mails our way
to make us think it was a Participatory Democracy....they held Basement Hearings to address the Voting Fraud of '04 Election...while Kerry sat still. They ignored the Millions of Americans who Marched on Washington and in cities all over America to stop the Iraq Invasion and EVERY YEAR who showed up at hardship to themselves to try to stop the expansion of Bush/Cheney's Wars...and in villages and towns across America where church groups held candlelight vigils every week..........and till hold them. They ignored EVERYONE...all the Groups working for Human Rights, ACLU, CREW...Veteran's for Peace, ALL THE FOLKS FIGHTING for Restoration of the Constitution and rights of Workers and Human Beings to have DIGNITY the world over.

THEY...toss bones...they tell us to participate but in every way we have TRIED to Participate..they have shot us down.

NOW...they think we will "Go Away." Like Pelosi telling "Code Pink" that their "stuff hanging from her landscaping" was offensive to her...and that if we were "homeless" she could have gotten rid of us...but "Free Speech Amendmend" meant she had to suffer looking at them."

Give me a break about our so-called Democratic Party! Harry Reid (the White Rabbit who stutters and squeeks about his being late...late for a very important date...wringing his hands and make an ass of himself is one PRIME EXAMPLE.
