My Uneducated Prediction: John Edwards Will Endorse Obama Tomorrow
I have this feeling that after he watches tonights debate, and seeing some of The Unions that support him going over to Obama, he will announce his support for Obama tomorrow when it still has a chance to make a difference.

Now this is just my hunch, and I almost certainly will be wrong, but this is just a feeling that I have.

4. Actually he said he didn't have plans on anything either before or after.
That leaves the door open.

I also wonder if there aren't some issues with his public funding/paying his staff - if he were to fully endorse another candidate right now. Because legally, he's only "suspended" his campaign.

3. You may be right.
Obama has done well to keep the news cycle. What does he have planned for Friday? A major endorsement would be brilliant.

11. Okay, then my second question would be
these guys have been in like 500 debates in the past year.

Do you honestly think that John (if he is even going to endorse) will make that decision based on the LA Debate performance?

And I thought *I* was flipping a coin.

13. Not just the debate. I think the unions going over to Obama could be very influential.

7. My hunch is he will not endorse before Super Tuesday is over.
If then.

It's a guess, of course, either way.

12. He'd be making a mistake to do so
A lot of people will be pissed off. Obama supporters in particular would go ballistic if he endorsed Hillary.

Plus, I think it's a moot point. I am convinced that HRC and BHO will be running as a team. Did you catch the body language when that topic came up? I would also strongly suspect that at least Edwards, Richardson, and Biden will be invited to accept cabinet positions within two weeks of that decision. We are already hearing that McCain is planning to do the same thing to re-unify the Republican Party, probably with Huckabee as VP.

Of course, I could be wrong, but the indications are pretty strong that, even if one of them scores a blowout victory, there will be a combined ticket to defeat (probably) Team Johnny Mac.

14. Oh yeah
John would really be upset by the ObamaNation being angry at him.

He'd react as I would to that "threat".

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
