2. Thanks, Nance. You put a BIG smile on my face. (so did Hillary and Barack tonite)
Edited on Fri Feb-01-08 03:05 AM by BigBearJohn
Even my Republican cousin called me tonite and
said, "Did you see the Democratic debate tonight?
It was GREAT. I actually enjoyed watching it."

I nearly fell off my chair. She's never had a
good thing to say about a Democrat in 20 years.

3. I'm trying, but I'm also trying to be as neutral as possible here.
Both candidates are great, but I think there are a lot of incomprehensible viewpoints here that need responding to.

4. Great idea, BBJ.
The divisiveness here is too much most of the time.

You're idea is better.

6. I tried yesterday for a one day truce.
The post sank through the floor in ten minutes flat.

I attempted to revive it to no avail. Tribal infighting is so much more fun. :sarcasm:

public ed math skills against misrepresentation by supporters of any candidate. Don't ask.

14. I've decided to stay out of stupid arguments
and even the not-so-stupid ones.

From now on, my contribution to candidate posts will be mostly limited to recommending the positive ones.

unity on the Board right after the debate. :kick:

However, I don't think it will last very long. I think it's really going to heat up now.

But this respite is welcome for however long it lasts.

Peace:thumbsup:

18. Great idea!
But I'm afraid some people are so in the habit of infighting, they won't shift gears until after the primaries. That's a shame, because I like feeling the way I do right now.

because when it's all said and done the ticket will be Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton. Now I understand what John Edwards was talking about when he said it will be an historic election for the Democratic Party.:toast:
