It will be a Hillary and McCain battle....
That is reality. And we better figure out a way to win.

3. Well, that is one possible reality.
And we win on Iraq, Healthcare and Old Man Cain's alignment to chimpy's agenda. Cain is running for chimpy's third term, with more war.

Obama or Clinton could beat him handily.

4. How can you say that? ("We could beat him handily")

Man, I hope you are right. I hope it is a blow-out. Over by 7:15pm election night.

But, the REALITY is that it WILL BE VERY TOUGH AND CLOSE. Folks can get mad and say this and that but that IS reality.

The extreme confidence displayed concerns me. We better play it like it tied and every vote counts.

5. I agree - it's not going to be easy either way this thing goes
I am very fearful from hearing some of the things in trenches here in the South and I've heard from others throughout the country that it's much the same. If Hillary is our candidate, the Indies and right-leaning candidates are going to trend to the G.O.P. since McCain is considered such a "moderate" by the press. Additionally, her candidacy will force the right out in droves - regardless of their positioning - to ensure Clinton is not elected. This is a fact that we can all count on.

It will be incumbent on her campaign to be forceful and not play nice with McCain. I'm very concerned about this because there isn't a more divisive person in politics than Hillary Clinton.

6. I believe we'll beat him quite easily
I see him as exactly the same as Bob Dole - the old, respected, somewhat independent-minded war vet who "deserved" the nomination.

Clinton beat him easily.

7. It won't necissarily be easy.
As we go into General Election season, one of our fine, strong candidates will be competing with (most likely) Old Man Cain for the news cycles. The differences between the two parties will be blinding. America will see on one side, a 70+year old man who has sold his branding to kiss chimpy's ass. An Old man who wants new wars, more wars, 100 of a war that America is sick of. He doesn't understand the economy, and admits as much. He is not offering anything NEW.

On the Dem side, will be progress, change in direction, ending the Occupation, providing Healthcare for all Americans, Jobs programs, environmental protections, and a historical Nominee, a woman or a black man.
