Clinton campaign downplays a large part of her career
By MATT STEARNS
McClatchy-Tribune

WASHINGTON — To hear Hillary Clinton talk, she's spent her entire career putting her Yale Law School degree to work for the common good.

She routinely tells voters that she's "been working to bring positive change to people's lives for 35 years." She told a voter in New Hampshire: "I've spent so much of my life in the nonprofit sector."

The overall portrait is of a lifelong, selfless do-gooder. The whole story is more complicated — and less flattering.

Clinton worked at the Children's Defense Fund for less than a year, and that's the only full-time job in the nonprofit sector she's ever had. She also worked briefly as a law professor.

Clinton spent the bulk of her career — 15 of those 35 years — at one of Arkansas' most prestigious corporate law firms, where she represented big companies and served on corporate boards....

FWIW: This article initially appears to slam Hillary, but overall it seems a fair recounting of her career.

2. Rose Law Firm's biggest client was Jackson Stephens - Poppy Bush's partner on BCCI

and the guy who brought that criminal terrorist bank into the United States.

Stephens also staked WalMart, and bankrolled GHWBush and Bill Clinton's political careers, including Bill's primary campaign.

Bush1 expected to be impeached and Stephens expected jail after BCCI report was released in Dec 1992. Bush1 ran the worst campaign in history then.

BCCI report was handed to new Dem president when he took office. What happened to Bush and Stephens and all the other named figures in that report?

Want to bet that Bushies were not really interested in Whitewater papers at the Rose Law Firm and actually just used Whitewater as a way to divert attention while they were ACTUALLY in those offices scrubbing it clean for Poppy Bush and Jackson Stephens and their BCCI dealings?

Hillary was NOT Stephens main lawyer at the firm, but some of her partners definitely WERE. Whitewater was a dog and pony show for the bases. BOTH bases.
