I gotta admit, as an election junkie I care more about the data than the end results.

I gotta admit, as an election junkie I care more about the data than the end results.
I love exit polls, county by county results, precinct by precinct, matching voting data up with census data and historical trends, etc. That's the best stuff ever.

The being said, even though I support Clinton, if Obama has a big day tomorrow which it looks like he might, I will fully support him come the fall. If he has a big night I look forward to breaking down all the results and sharing them with everyone, including Obama supporters. Elections just produce so many neat little factoids. :-)

Any other election junkies here in the same boat as me?

6. I'm kinda the opposite -- I see elections as the means to an end
I'm a junky to the extent that I look at the big picture trends, and am fascinated by all the strategery.

But basically, I have a set of underlying principles that I see as the contest. I care less about what person wins than whether the ideas that I care about are being pushed forward.

8. I've become addicted to Real Clear Politics this cycle
I've been following the state polls much more closely. Some of the DC-based staffers from the special Congressional election I worked on this past fall turned me on to Politico.com, which linked to RCP.
