Who's with me?
I was a supporter of Edwards. Really liked how he talked about poverty and the damn corporatocracy and all that. Now he's out.

So we are left with Hillary and Obama. While it's a great thing Obama inspires many I note his momentum is based compltely on emotional appeal. He's not been a firebrand of any sort in the Senate or anything but he does give a great speech. Hillary of course is great friends with the oligarchy. Her hubby made great progress for them all with NAFTA and fundraisers by Rupert Murdock and such.

Still, neither one of them is horrifying IMO. Obama inspires, Hill would know what she wanted to do and set about doing it on day one (cause she knows how it works).

Could be worse. Ffrankly our best bet may be to have 'em both on the ticket though the marketing person in me tells me it's not smart to have two first time type candidates on one ticket.

All in all I don't feel too strongly about either one, either good or bad. I hope all are braced for the possibility of their candidate being "out" one day soon (probably tomorrow).

Really, neither of these candidates is worth hating--save that for the Rethugs. Be ready to come together everyone.

Cheers to my fellow DUers,
Julie

1. I will hold my nose for Hillary
No, there are very few Democrats out there who could be worse than the Clintons.

If you don't know the difference, it's because you never bothered to look to find it. It's based on a lot more than emotional appeal.

3. Thanks for the insult
Frankly I don't think either of them is the epitome of evil as so many surrogates here do but then again I am not emotionally invested in either campaign.

I'll support either and I hope all those who consider themselves to be Democrats will be mature enough to do so too.

Julie

2. After the last debate I was ready for a Clinton/Obama ticket, but not anymore.
The day after the debate, he started his lying, sending out false fliers and his wife can't decide if she will support Hillary if she's elected.:grr: I think the ticket could win, but he doesn't deserve to be on it...not after the dirty campaign he's run.

No, I think Hillary should send Barack packing. Let him go work with Exelon.....they've been paying him long enough. He may as well earn the pay.:(

....Michelle later says she will vote for Hillary. she doesn't have obligation to campaign for Hillary though she is entitled to her lfie back. You probablydidn't mean to distort but that is the power of media spin.

his messages, even though he can't (may be impossible, at least for the given audience) express it completely on his campaign. I am a very unemotional person yet I still support Obama wholeheartedly, and would take it as slightly demeaning if someone considered my choice only based on emotion. I implore you to ponder upon it a bit more.
