We need change in this country. The argument that Hillary has all these years of experience mean she has experience in an administration that has made a mess of things. She has been part of the Status Quo. I respect her for running but I believe we need a new start with new and fresh ideas. Obama can lead us. There will be plenty of people with experience in DC that he can appoint to his cabinet to help make this happen.

The people of America have spoken in a historic way. Never before have there been rallies like the ones we have witnessed with people from all walks of life rallying behind a dream and hope for something better. We need a leader that the little people believe in. We need a leader who came from humble beginnings and who worked his way to the top.

The leaders that endorse are going beyond that endorsement to actively campaign for him for a reason. This is a moment in History and it may not come again in our lifetimes.

So even though I am a woman and would love to see a woman in the White House I have to believe in and vote for this man.

The primary (for us dems) is on Sunday, in Maine. It's been spending the last week here reading up (had to stay away for a while, was too depressed to keep reading about our Country going down the shitter) that has finally made up my mind for me. Obama has my vote.

My first choice was Kucinich, but Dennis exited the race, and then Edwards suspended his campaign.

So, a vote for Obama it is. My number one reason is that he KNOWS the Constitution, the Amendments, and the LAW, in its entirety.

Sen. Obama is articulate, and I love the pastor of his church, who is very progressively-minded (and they are good friends). This Unitarian-Universalist frequently works with the members of the local United Church of Christ church. We are there every week at the peace vigil!

These are just some of the many, many reasons. Obama has consistently been against the invasion and occupation of Iraq (the unconstitutional and illegal one). He has a decent health care plan, although perhaps we can persuade him to add certain features. He is pro-choice and pro-GLBT-rights. He did not for the Kyl-Lieberman amendment, and he did not vote against the cluster-bomb prohibition amendment.
