For anyone who still thinks Lou Dobbs is on the side of the progressives...
I watched in awe as he told Wolfie that Illegal Immigration was one of the top three issues of this presidential campaign...

And then he basically wrote off Obama, Clinton and McCain because they support less draconian measures than the Lounitic of CNN...

So he looks at Wolfie all weepy eyed and said that Romney was still in it and did his little cutesy wink...

He's aright wing blowhard disguising himself as a regular guy...

He seems to have taken up the long dead cause of Lunch box voters popularized in the movie Joe

These were the guys, the construction workers who whistled at "hot chicks" and proudly walked around with America Love it Or Leave it T-shirts...

The guys Nixon lackey and conservative apologist, Kevin Philip's, dubbed them the Silent Majority...

Lou, your flirtation with the progressive movement is over...

We know your not independent...

We know you love the tax cuts, smalled government and kicking immigrant ass...

Which only makes an ass out of you...

1. I saw that too. It was not only nauseating, but it proved he's not informed.
At one time I "fell" for his pseudo concern regarding the American worker. No more!

2. He doesn't sound very progressive to me...
Anyone whose ideas date back to the Love it or Leave it crowd is no progressive!

I prefer the sound of the word regressive...

3. Lou was never a progressive. He's always been a hardcore conservative; he just realized
that he could get a bigger audience if he wrapped his racism with "they're takin' our jobs" paranoia.

7. Yes I did...
I know it was about a hard hat going after the drug dealers who fucked over his daughter...

But the tone of the movie, from Joe's perspective, was negative toward the youth culture of the time...

13. I thought he softened toward them. Of course Peter Boyle was Joe.
That was a lifetime ago.

6. Lou Dobbs is a joke and everyone knows it...
So much bullshit comes out of that mans mouth. He isn't a good speaker either.

8. His show reminds me
of the old Saturday Night Live skit about the people opening the scotch tape store.

He's only got one thing to sell. Immigration.

His show is about the same thing night after night. I can't believe CNN lets him stay on.

9. Dobbs thought Tancredo and Hunter were the only two "sane" candidates
in either party. Gives you an idea where his head is at.

11. Lou's numbers went up with his 'broken borders' shtick, and being a media guy...
driven by such things, he soon imo developed the 'mirror mirror on the wall' complex but he's a republican, he only wants our ad dollars  and by extension his paycheck cha'ching!!
