2. Hope I can help
Reasons not to vote for corrupt Hillary: (besides the fact she voted for the war in Iraq, she didn't even read the bill for the war and claims the bill was about letting in inspectors even though the bill was titled "Authorisation to use military force in Iraq". She claims she didn't read the bill but asked Bush personally what it was about)

From ABC news:

"Another war opponent, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, was second (to Ron Paul) with about $94,000. Soldiers love Ron and Barack, and lobbyists love Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, the No. 1 recipient of lobbyist cash, receiving $823,000 in 2007 from the lobbying industry, which gave about $2.7 million overall."

Edited on Tue Feb-05-08 04:40 AM by Levgreee
is more electable. Hillary will invigorate the Republican base, and not have the same voter inspiration that Obama has for young people, Independents, and cross-over Republicans.

If you are ultimately most worried about having a Dem in the White House, Obama is your pick.

11. Obama - the sky is the limit
I want to win this time, and not just the presidency. If we barely win the presidency and lack good majorities in the House and Senate, we won't have the mandate needed. I think Hillary will win but kill down ballot candidates by the scores. I believe her candidacy will inflict long term harm on the party, and may fatally prevent us from undoing the worst of the Bush administration.

Then judge for yourself.

It could be a simple as that, if you ask me.

One's a leader, the other, a mere politician.

So ask yourself, which do you prefer to lead us?

That was not a diss. That was an infantile, snarky remark; the same kind of which I've made about every candidate mentioned in this thread.

If you didn't want to read something like that then you shouldn't have brought up his name in the first place. I was on the verge of supporting him, until I realized that his supporters are so damned thin skinned and humorless.

62. There's virtually no difference between the candidates
Well Clinton has a marginally better healthcare plan, and Obama is marginally better (did not have to vote for the IWR) foreign policy wise.

I did not vote for Obama because of his specious campaign for change and his pandering to conservative voters (McClurkin, etc.).

Hillary has a long record with lots of scars that will likely be brought up over and over again in the GE, but I'm less reviled by her than Obama :shrug.
