I don't see that as a positive result. The adult thing would be to get together and surprise us all with a combined ticket platform...They definitely are adult enough to do it.

2. Absolute false....
A "decided" GOP race and a thrilling, whats-going-to-happen-next Dem race means that

A. The Democratic race dominates news cycles for the next several weeks. McCain will struggle to get any air time.

B. Democratic ground games keep growing and stay engaged.

C. More free advertising for the Democratic party in the form of debates in upcoming states. Last Thursday was an incredibly positive night for the Democratic party. 90 minutes of the Democratic message going to millions WITHOUT a GOP counterpoint.

D. States like PA and TX that normally don't get to play a role, will get to play a role this time. That engages the voters in those states... and people who vote in the Primary are much more likely to vote again in the General.

E. It delays the time where the RW attack groups can begin their "swiftboating" campaign against our candidate. We won't be hearing their crap all spring... they'll have to wait until we decide on a nominee, since they wont want to waste money attacking the wrong candidate.

A protracted Democratic race is a *GOOD* thing.... it keeps us in the forefront of the news and moves the GOP, and their message, back to the "oh by the way" pages and segments of the news.

independent voters. A long description of why it would be possible proves the point it won't work.

4. Without a clear front runner, McCain wins the polls. They have the talking point.
