Let's just say that Romney does win the nomination, you know that Limbaugh and his sycophants will be talking up Romney nonstop.

Fairness Doctrine, anyone? There doesn't seem to be a more clear-cut reason why this needs to be reinstated.

2. True, but this amounts to free campaigning with no chance for rebuttal
Look at what happened in '04, when Limbaugh, Hannity, and other RWers gave loads of free airtime to the Swiftboat people. They were given lots of opportunities to tell their side of the story, but I don't recall hearing very much from Kerry's side. With such a close election, this very well could have played an important role.

4. Rushie has to face it: nobody is doing what he wants.
He has been slamming McCain and Huckabee for months, McCain is going to get the nomination. All of those right wing pundits have been whining about McCain and he is going to get the nomination.

He's becoming increasingly irrelevant to the right wing whackos. It's a beautiful day.

3. Limbaugh has been crossing the line for over a week now
in his attempt to stop McCain. His excuse that he's only "entertainment" no longer reasonably holds water. An FEC complaint needs to be filed.

5. Sean Ins(h)anity has endorsed him too - as well as using
"liberal" to describe McCain.
