11. You don't know what he has or has not done, or offered her.
I have known older people that do NOT want such things: they choose not to change their lives, as they are more comfortable that way. It is a different culture, with different priorities and values. Maybe she said NO?

Bug off.

23. He probably beats her when the camera is off.
Then he shits on her floor, and stomps on her garden.

20. Because unlike the rest of the candidates running.. he's hardly "rich"..
His assets are worth about $1,000,000... compared to Hillary's $60,000,000. Maybe he wants to actually get "the job" and make sure his girls are through school before buying Granny a new house.

A million sounds like a lot - but even in Chicago, it's really not. I'm sure more will be coming in though, even if he doesn't win the election.

29. well, if he is going to help the poor in our country then what has he done for his family?
his kids go to a private school and they bought a big house for $300,000 below market value... next to Rezco and then bought land from Rezco... and hey... a small amount of money goes a long way in Kenya!

really, my brother was talking about building water wells for the poor through a memorial fund he has... why not Obama doing something?

now that is something real to brag about!

34. She doesn't appear to be poor to me...Have you asked her?
or just assume? What did you base your opinion on? I saw a woman who is proud, dressed nicely, in what appears to be a nice looking home, what small fraction of it I could see in a photograph. I know nothing more about it than that. Yet I wont make wild judgments about this woman based on a photograph...You should remember Her Son, Barack's Father was able to come to America to study...sound like a family living in squaller to you?
