1. Ohio
Over 200,000 manufacturing jobs have been lost in Ohio under the Bush Administration. The people are digusted with the Republican Governor for misleading them about the state of the State's financial affairs during his re-election bid. The local "clear channel" talk radio station (here in Columbus) has been very interesting to listen to of late. In the past, most callers to the "red neck station" have been anti-democrat, anti-liberal....but I have noticed callers more and more voicing their doubt in the current administration. They are by no means "pro Kerry" at this point but there is a palpable unrest among the Bush supporters. In addition, the Columbus Dispatch editorial page has not been supportive of the policies of the Bush Administration. This is a paper who ALWAYS endorses the Republican ticket. They are not expected to do so this time.
