4. They act the same way the GOP & media does...
...constantly attacking Democrats.

Kerry will be attacked by the GOP, media, and far-left, who I guess are allies now.

8. Horsemanure.
It's attitudes like that that drive idealists away from pragmatism. You are merely proving their thesis that the party doesn't care for anything but neoliberal economics and merely pays lip service to any progressive ideals that are the supposed core values of the Democratic Party.

9. I'm a socialist and an independent
I refuse to refer to myself as a Democrat because I find the party too far to the right. I will vote for Democrats, but unless they significantly change I am not a Democrat.

If I can compromise, why can't they?

3. I hate posters who tear down everything I've worked for...
(yes, I actually VOLUNTEER and WORK for DEMS)...and then they act all suprised when we confront them for bashing DEMS and what we are trying to build...

The greens & assorted DEM bashers need to find another board and stop attacking us like the GOP & media does...

5. Oh boy, here we go again. Can we avoid tit-for-tat stuff, please?
Edited on Mon Mar-08-04 01:27 AM by jpgray
If such posts exist, ignoring them would be more effective than starting your own thread to insult the posters. This will just encourage more threads about how cruel Kerry supporters are asking everyone to 'fall in line', etc. and they will link to this very thread. Neither side is 'right', and both are carrying on this internecine nonsense for the sake of carrying it on.

6. Only a very small vocal minority. Threads like this punish others
who still intend to vote for the Democratic candidate in November, and stir up hard feelings for those with heart felt misgivings and who put a lot of blood, sweat, tears and money behind other candidates that they truly believed in.

It would be nice if we could just address the ones causing the problems individually when they post instead of starting whole threads to broad brush a whole group and take out innocents as well. I'm just saying ...

7. every person I refer to is the one causing the problems
I'm not talking about people who are upset their candidate lost, but rather ones that will refuse to vote for Kerry in November because of it.

10. Your inflammatory posts do as much to enable Bush
as any of those you attack.

Your rhetoric is destructive to the party, please refrain from further marginalistic blather.

11. not every non-ABBer is refusing to vote for Kerry, so you did include
more than those who refuse to vote because their candidate lost.

Personally, I don't see what is to be gained by stirring up the other group of 3rd Party voters either. I'm sick of hearing from them and their tantrums. Why the hell do you want to draw them out?? Let them stew in their own shit?!?!?

14. Second Party Politics
I think everyone is overreacting. Republicans read posts like these and smile. We are imploding just like they want us to. Don't we all want Bush gone? Now that is a statement I think we can all fall behind.

A.B.B. 2004!
