Good lord, this guy just LOOKS sleazy and he sounds it too. Disgusting. Hillary has to dig into her own pockets and this bastard won't even agree to REDUCE his pay. She had to dig into her pockets to pay a sleaze like him. Sad. He isn't even worth it.

It was this morning on Morning Joe.

7. That has to be the dumbest response.
My comments on him being a sleazeball has nothing to do with his unionbusting past (or present) and nothing to do with his support of Blackwater, or anything of that. It has everything to do with the fact that he's fucking over Hillary's campaign. Dude, get a grip. That money she had to write a check for was not for advertisement or anything - IT WAS TO PAY HIM.

There are people in her campaign, hard working people, decent people (one would presume), who are now working for free while that bastard waddles up to the cash tit and suckles it dry. He would not even consider cutting back his paycheck - reducing it down to say, 1 Million dollars.

16. And IIR Trippi doesn't have a good track record when it comes
to national campaigns or lesser ones.

10. Difference: Many in her campaign are now working for free.
Edited on Thu Feb-07-08 08:46 AM by Meldread
He won't even consider cutting his payment in half to something like 2.5 Million. It's disgusting. How do you think those who aren't getting paid feel right now?

I'm sure they feel fired up! :sarcasm:

12. I remember Trippi walking away with millions right after Dean was forced out
Find me a campaign strategist who isn't raking it in, no matter if they decide to suspend those payments to themselves for a time.

13. I remember that well - I never forgave Trippi.
I just think it's pathetic when someone is raking in a HUGE paycheck, and refuses to cut back - even a little - while others, working right next to you, have to work for free. You add to that the politics taking place within the campaign, and the rumors that he was already highly disliked... I can only imagine how some of those folks feel.

11. I do not believe one thing on Morning Joe.
They are shilling for Obama...I expect a choir behind them singing whenever obama's name is mention and of course lightening and thunder when Clinton is mentioned.

14. It came from Penn's OWN LIPS.
He was on this morning, live, and they asked him if he'd accept a pay cut - he dodged the question by saying he worked really hard "around the clock". They asked him several times and each time he dodged.
