How About Lou Dobbs as VP?
I know he's currently a republican, but it sure is getting hard to tell. It's clear he does not support Bush, he has the respect of an awful lot of folks (me included). I have no doubt at all he could attract a considerable number of Republicans. What do you all think?

1. He is doing a good thing...
by calling out companies that outsource, but let us not be too hasty in allowing him into the fold. I believe his tried and true colors are always bubbling just below the surface.

8. I read that thread and Lou Dobbs's actions are correct, imho.

He is advising folks to buy the stocks that will make money off of outsourcing (because thouse stocks *will* make money in the current environment) in his private letter and he explains the outsourcing situtation on his show.

His speaking up will help change those policies. And he would be doing his readers a disservice if he told them to avoid these money making stocks.

I don't support Dobbs for VP though. I support Edwards.

4. If Kerry gets the White House...
Lou Dobbs should definitely get a coupon for a Happy Meal.

5. He is Islamophobic, xenophobic enough to appeal to voters

But he is very opposed to outsourcing, which could hurt Kerry's business support.

13. Dobbs > Kerry.
Republican or not. If it weren't for him (and candidates Gephardt and Kucnich), trade wouldn't be an issue this election.

12. He's still a Republican...
Not that I don't think Lou is a great guy and all but the ticket is a very partisan thing.
