8. he really really really really should be VP
it is going to be a nasty year and only Clark can deconstruct the media whores complete cluelessness on military/terrorism affairs.

he was magnificent against Woof Blitzer.

9. The only place Bush is beating Kerry in the polls is in...
security and foreign affairs. Who among the possible VP candidates has extensive experience even expertise in these areas? Only Wes Clark! It only makes sense to me for Kerry to chose Clark as his running mate.

11. Bob Graham does. He was the ranking democrat on the intelligence cmtee
And unlike Clark he is the provenly most popular democrat if not politician in a state that has one tenth of the electoral votes we need to win. Whatever pockets of support Clark people want to point to with Clark, it's from a failed insurgency in a democratic primary, which is nothing compared to Grahams 5 statewide wins, sometimes by landslide margins.

I was a Clark for president supporter, but he doesn't have anything Kerry needs most.

13. I would disagree even though I like Bob Graham...
and believe he is an honorable man. Watching his campaign during the primaries, he wasn't able to garner any real support which, it seems to me, says that he could do little for Kerry. Graham's foreign affairs and security expertise is solely from serving on committees within the US, from what I know, although I stand to be corrected on this, whereas Clark has global experience through his SACEUR role and NATO.

27. Hate to break it to ya...
But take my word for it, being a legislator on an intelligence committee is NOTHING compared to being a unified and allied commander overseas.

Wes Clark has "owned" (in the military sense) and employed intelligence collection assets involving thousands of intelligence professionals and many hundred millions of dollars. He has made combat and diplomatic decisions based on the intelligence he received, decisions that shaped US foreign policy, alliance relationship, and the very lives of the soldiers and sailors under his command. He has personally worked directly with national intelligence agency chiefs (CIA, DIA, NSA, State Dept) to identify what additional intelligence he needed and how it could be delivered. He has even worked with Congress, to include Bob Graham, to make sure his intelligence requirements were funded.

We can argue all day about who pulls in the most votes for Kerry as VP, and neither of us has any "proof" to our assertions. But the superiority of Clark's knowledge and experience in intelligence and foreign affairs is indisputable.

15. I thought they said 3:00.
But I could be wrong since we had company and I was only half listening.

I really think they said 3:00, but I didn't get who would do the interview. My ears only perked up when I heard the name Clark.
I've been listening to CNN ever since and they have not repeated it.
Heaven forbid they give him too much publicity!

I'll be sure to post it if I hear anything else.

A bright spot in my day when I see Wes.

Hope Judy Woodruff behaves herself; if not the General should give her a smack down.

19. Felt good to vote for Clark this morning.
Meaningless perhaps, and on principle.

Guess I don't follow orders well. :)

Kerry in Nov of course (me and everyone I can drag to the polls).

But it still felt good to vote for the Demoratic candidate of my wildest dreams.

Next time.

20. Thank goodness Clark wasn't due to be on at 3:00
He would have been bumped by Asscroft's medical report.

He will be on with Judy at 3:30 and as Leilani said...
Get ready for Clark to smack down Judy....even though he is an Officer and a Gentleman!

Good Luck General. See you in 10 minutes!

Least rude I've seen her towards Wes.

Now that he's out, they've stopped the smears.
