Though I don't like Kerry, I will say this--
he seems ready for a fight. I was for Dean, and I don't agree with Kerry on very many issues, but he's fighting back well. And he seems to have a sort of "presidential charisma" which helps. I might stop fighting him issue-for-issue and see him as someone who in general will be supportive of an overall liberal agenda. For instance, if we could get the Congress to vote in universal health care, Kerry would sign it. He wouldn't block progress.

2. He is so ready
You can't miss it. Kerry and all the Dems this year are just not going to take it from the bastards.

3. Kerry has already slammed Bush* on AWOL and the 9/11 ads
and he's knocked Bush* off his game by forcing Bush* to star his campaigning earlier than Bush* intended.

5. Though I don't like Kerry
he's lightyears ahead of Bush.

He's sounding a bit hoarse lately, I hope he rests after tonight.

6. "a Desdemona who fights back"
There's a Cheers episode where Diane is being strangled by an ex-con in a scene from Othello, and a critic in the audience shouts out in surprise "A Desdemona who fights back!" That's what I see in Kerry, a Democrat who, to everyone's surprise, is fighting back this time, instead of just lying there as a victim, and that's what we need.

7. Somehow
the presidential aura thing isn't happening for me.

He speaks in a boring monotone, alas. Oh, for the passion and conviction of Howard Dean.

And don't for once think this will be a fair, free, and honest election. Those in power are going to do anything and everything to stay in power.

9. I must admit, he seems like a fighter.

It's one of the things I'm coming to like about him. Bush lies, and Kerry jackslaps him for it.

It's the only way we're gonna win, and it's a pity Al Gore didn't realize it before it was too late...

11. As a Dean supporter, I agree...but don't let up on him.
Definitely let him know that you like what you see so far, but don't take it for granted that he's not going to start moving to the middle, because I'm betting that he will. I'm going to be ready to smack him when he does- I can't trust him, yet.
