If the DNC do this fair and square and re-run florida and MI then folks will vote for Hillary. If not that is disenfranchisement and undemocratic and he then says if so get used to saying President McCain. Sounds very reasonable to me. Play fair with the voters and they will with the party.

The States decide when and if (I presume) a primary is run, the DNC only decides how the delegates get counted.

...Disenfranchisement got African Americans to the polls this time. Very reasonably they won't play that game twice, if it happens again. It might not happen but just putting this out there as it makes clear sense to me, can't see the caller being unreasonable on this. if any other section of america was disenfanchised it would be just as unjust to clarify no bias.

The DNC wants MI and FL to rerun their primaries or hold caucuses that would conform to the existing rules. MI in fact may do so, from what I hear, but FL refuses. The DNC wants very much to seat the MI and FL delegates; doing otherwise is bad karma all around. It is the state parties that are trying to have it their way or no way at all.

If you live in Florida and are angry that your vote may not be heard, you need to direct your ire at Karen Thurman and Bill Nelson rather than Howard Dean, as they are the ones preventing your vote from meaning anything.

How can you possibly seat the Michigan delegates when only Hillary is on the ballot. In Florida no campaigning took place and because the vote didn't matter a lot of people wouldn't have bothered voting - except for the elderly who have plenty of time on their hands.

The best solution is to hold new caucuses in both states before July - this would give Obama and Clinton supporters an equal chance! I'm sure Hillary and Bill could loan the two state Democratic parties some cash to pay for the caucuses!

Florida is bound up in some kind of Repug legislature deal, which binds
the hands of Dem party even if they (Dems) would like to revote.
(Someone from FL could clarify.) I originally thought this was true in MI, but it was
FL.

In Michigan, Obama, Edwards, Kucininch et al waited until the last day possible
to remove their names from the ballot, thereby gambling on MI delegates
never being seated because they broke the rule. Gov. Granholm has said that they
will not pay for 2 primaries.

As for candidates not campaigning in those states (and how a revote would
rectify that).

Did any candidate campaign in Alaska? If not, is Alaska's vote any less legit?

If I'm wrong (which is definitely possible), please set me straight.
