12. Unlikely. The assinine threads are made by about 40% of regular posters here.
Making posts actually matter, count, have value, makes people think twice about posting the next cult thread.

9. This person is one of the people
who is ruing this board IMO-posting propaganda thread after propaganda thread, trying to incite and divide us like we're frigging idiots and can't see through this game. It's funny how the same poster seems to clock in every day around the same time like it's a job or something...one wonders

With the Clinton money shortages. They must have raised enough money to keep him.

17. I think the thing that bothers me the most about these constant attempts at propaganda
is how easily they are to spot-like we're stupid people around here-we've been watching this same stuff, same kind of divide and conquer techniques from republicans for the past decade and are keenly aware of when it is being tried on us

The other prolific posters are just ignored because they don't support Hillary.

sounds a LOT like Rush Limbaugh type assertion
from 2004-"oh young people don't vote"-amazing how well the Clinton-ites have learned from Karl Rove (who Bill Clinton actually CONGRATULATED AFTER THE '04 election!!!)...can you believe that? He should have punched him in his fat face

We're too young and stupid to be talking this "politicks" bidness, SA... let's leave important things like elections to the old folks who know better. Maybe we can play Xbox for a while until American Idol comes on - I mean, I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I didn't have mindless entertainment! I'm just a stupid kid after all!

20. When the fad has run its course, no matter who is the nominee ...
Edited on Sat Feb-09-08 03:01 PM by Straight Shooter
... we can be assured, judging from past elections, that it will be the folks who take elections seriously that will be doing all the heavy lifting to secure the presidency. Those who are getting a rush by attending rallies and voting for the celebrity candidate, most of them will fall by the wayside, their initial enthusiasm will dry up and blow away.

In my opinion, Kennedy/Nixon was the first campaign where style defined the merits of a candidate rather than substance. This is the first election campaign I have seen where it has actually turned into a fad to support and vote for a candidate, rather than a solemn civic duty. It will not be the last. The Obama campaign has set a precedent for astonishing hype. This is what we can look forward to from now on. God help us when holograms become readily accessible to the average home.

31. Here in rural Colorado, we had a lot of older people caucus.
My wife and I voted for Obama, but Hillary won our precint 9-5. Having fourteen people was seven times the most we've ever had before. I was happy with the turnout, even if the result was not what I'd like. The county went 339-316 for Obama. This is a conservative, rural area that used to be the heart of KKK country. So for Obama to win is amazing.

34. Old people vote... for Republicans
18-29 year olds were the only age group to break for Kerry in the last election. The older people get, the more conservative and blind they get - every older demographic became progressively more pro-Bush.

Keep trashing young people and watch your one reliable liberal demographic go down the drain. If you think all the old fools who voted for Bush in 04 are gonna be Hillary fans, you are going to be in for a sad surprise. Alienating people who might actually vote for her is probably a bad idea, but who am I to tell the Hillbots how to run their campaign? I'm just young and stupid and I don't matter!

This drivel of an OP is exactly why Hillary would lose in the general election, and why I wouldn't feel one bit sorry.

If Hillary can get more old people to vote, she deserves to win.

It ain't difficult.
