Obama never mentions the right-wing attacks
Only Clinton's "divisiveness."

It's a strange approach, in my view. He seems to blame the victim, but allows the attacker to remain undefined. Then speaks of unity.

I see this as a very slick and dishonest method. Is anyone else troubled by this?

3. Yes, he makes it sound as though the Clintons were singlehandedly
responsible for the conflicts of the 90s. Gingrich and the others with whom he apparently wants to achieve unity seem to have had nothing to do with it.

It reminds me of a cop showing up on a domestic disturbance call and saying to the victim of the beating, "You two need to stop fighting!"

5. It really doesn't matter who the blame is placed on
The truth is that the republican attacks turned her into a divisive figure, whether it was her fault or not.

6. It really doesn't matter who the blame is placed on
Rape: "That woman should not have been wearing that short of a skirt."
Robbery: "He shouldn't have been wearing all that gold jewelry."
Domestic violence: "If you just wouldn't make him angry, he wouldn't beat on you like that."

Injustice is injustice, and should not be rationalized, simply because it benefits one's side. And it's disheartening to watch it being used to one's advantage, where someone is willing to sacrifice personal ethics for ambition.

If Obama is the nominee, considering the dismal state of the MSM, I'm pretty sure I will be spending a lot of time defending him as the nominee against the media lies. My level of enthusiasm for doing that, however, will depend on how forcefully he pushes the meme of Hillary as divisive and polarizing.
