Has Anyone Else Noticed That Obama just keeps winning state after state after state after state?
Is it just me or is my DVR stuck on replay with the news? It appears to me that Senator Obama just seems to win every contest that comes up. How can that be possible?

Golly Gee, Batman! Does this guy ever lose an election?

Obama's string of continuous victories reminds me of the 1960's when the Beatles had nearly all the top 10 songs at the same time.

It's like the news just keeps repeating itself over and over with the same headline: "Today Senator Barack Obama won all of the existing primaries and caucuses with over 60% of the vote." I feel like it is Ground Hog Day all over again.

The American people sure must really like Barack Obama a lot.

Yes, but they're mostly caucuses and states we can't win in the general
Try to keep up. :sarcasm:

28. You're really gasping at straws now. It's sorta sad to watch.
I don't know how this particular talking point started circulating DU but it makes no sense at all.

The states which Clinton won which you I guess consider states we can win she won by only a tiny margin. This point would have substance if one candidate was blowing out another candidate in blue states. But its not happening. Either candidate is excellently positioned against John McCain to carry the so called Blue States. Neither one is having any problems there.

Almost every one of Clinton's state victories were by a very narrow margin. By contrast, most of Obama's victories were by significant margins drastically larger than Clinton's victories.

If hillary is the nominee, great - she gets my vote. But this talking point is just silly.

13. I was thinking the same thing while reading LBN thread subject lines
"Obama wins (fill in the state)'s caucus/primary".

Here's hoping for the same subject headings Tuesday night (and the night of March 4th---"Obama WINS Texas Primary").

Texas' early voting starts Feb 19th!

18. Looks like its going to be that way for a while.
I could get used to it.

"There are forces within the Democratic Party who want us to sound like kinder, gentler Republicans. I want us to compete for that great mass of voters that want a party that will stand up for working Americans, family farmers, and people who haven't felt the benefits of the economic upturn."---Paul Wellstone

20. It's the "Big Mo" baby...
Barack Obama is riding the crest of a wave this month. I was seriously in doubt that he had any chance of picking up Texas or Ohio, but now it looks - dare I think it? - POSSIBLE!

You're probably going to hate me, but I'll say it anyway: I hate that it would mean Hillary has to lose. She's not perfect but she's pretty damn good. We Dems had a wealth of great candidates and none of them would be the presidential disaster ANY RepubliCon would.

This is a great year to be a Democrat.

22. It doesn't matter. These states don't count.
Maybe Ohio and Texas and Pennsylvania. But that's it.

Why do we even let those foreigners in the Virgin Islands vote for the American president anyway?

23. I felt the same way, but then I read in some thread
that he can't win in any southern states, and HRC could, in the GE. I guess people only come out in record numbers to vote in primaries these days. I find logic missing in those posts, but it's probably just me......

24. Hillary = that pre fight sparring partner of the champ. She's practice.
for the real fight, which will be with the Pukes. Like a good sparring partner, Hillary tries to take on all the style of the upcoming opponent (the Republican Party), and in this regard, she has done an exceptional job. She's copied KKKarl and his methods to the T. In fact, it's impossible to tell the difference between the Clinton campaign's methods and those of Karl Rove. Caging, vote stealing, race wedge issues, hate, anonymous dirty tricks. I sometimes wonder if he's not giving them advice.
