The republicans want to finish off what they started with the Clintons
Edited on Sun Feb-10-08 10:02 PM by bigtree
Some folks, tired of the struggle, say we should pull one of the reigning champions in those battles out of the ring and replace her with a younger, untested fighter who promises to pull his punches . . . throwing the fight?

1. And some folks, like you.....
...are continually trying to fight the old battles.

Your main motivation for supporting Clinton is to get "revenge" for the 90s... for a restoration in which you can shout "ha ha!" to the Republicans.

Some of us have moved BEYOND both the right-wing nuts AND the Clintons.

You want Ali-Frazier III.... we want BOTH sides to retire and, as Steeler coach Chuck Noll used to say, "get on with their life's work".

2. Pyrrhic victory for the tens of thousands that have died in the wake of that "victory".
But let's keep beating that dead horse until it wakes up.

3. I don't think you can stop them from using their stale attacks by running from them
do you really believe they'll just stop if Obama is the nominee?

4. They may not stop, but they have to rewrite their play book.
I'd like nothing better than to rub their faces in another Clinton presidency, but right now, I am thinking that we need to think more about what is good for the country rather than schaudenfreude.
