HIllary to Sue Obama for Copyright Infringement
Edited on Sun Feb-10-08 10:33 PM by mculator
This just in: Copyright judges today ruled that they would hear Clinton's case that Obama copied Hillary's policy word for word. In the deposition there were so many instances of blatant piggybacking that one justice said, "I haven't seen a display this counterfeit since Milli Vanilli."

02/08/08
In an effort to have Barack Obama's intrade market rise, his supporters simply told him one thing: "copy her." And so he did. Sure enough, the polls started to rise. His intrade market is soaring as the bourgeois following he has dumps the "tax cuts they don't need and didn't ask for" into his campaign. Like a dream, Barack must have thought when looking at the polls over the last year: "all I have to do is exactly what Hillary does."

The copyright claim is real, folks. It might not be a court of law in which I bring you this case, but rather, it's the court of public opinion, where both you and I are are judges of the highest order.
Obama's strategy has been successful because the idea is to come close to Hillary while offering a 'cake and eat it to' health care package that won't bring us any closer to a solution. In short, to do what works with the bourgeois voters while leaving the worker undervalued and undereducated.

He should explain exactly, and I mean specifically, what this "change" that he will bring to Washington is, since the more he changes, the closer his policies look to Hillary's, save the bone he throws to the opposition of universal health care.

I want a single payer system. We all know Hillary does. I'm here to help her out. She's better at getting things done than Barack is, but he's better at politics. I don't like the politics part. I want my family to have health care. I'm not rich. I don't like Obama's plan, and even if he assumes the exact plan of Hillary as he has with all these other policies, I believe only she knows how to implement her own policy.

As they say, the devil is in the details.

I can't wait for the two measly debates Obama reluctantly agreed to, if we even get one on Obama-fanatic MSNBC anymore.

In one debate she should discuss his Superbowl ad and Flordia ad, and whether or not Flordia delegates should be seated.

In the other debate she should focus on why Obama did so well in red states like Kansas and Alaska when she did so well in California, New York, and in Kerry and Teddy's "Massachusetts Massacre". I wonder..... which opinions will count more in November?

In both debates she should point to the thievery that has been committed upon her ideas by his campaign... Hey Obama... I thought the REPUBLICANS WERE THE PARTY OF IDEAS?!?!

Because someone who worked in poor neighborhoods as a community organizer in his 20's never thought about poverty before.

53. He didn't give a speech about it in his presidential campaign until Edwards' poverty tour
Edited on Sun Feb-10-08 11:09 PM by jackson_dem
What a mere coincidence! :sarcasm: Luckily by giving it when Edwards was on his tour he was able to work himself into rare coverage of Edwards ("John Edwards continued his poverty tour. Meanwhile, Barack Obama also addressed...").

81. I heard him speak about poverty
before Edwards drops out. Maybe the problem is that some people weren't really listening to Obama until Edwards dropped out.

Its true that Edwards spoke about poverty more often. Personally, a good stump speech is near the bottom of the list of things I look at in a candidate. Anyone can say anything on the campaign trail. I guess that's why I wasn't an Edwards supporter.

Wouldn't using which candidate received fewer corporate contributions be a better indicator of "labor-friendly"?

Look at the data....that candidate would be Obama.

Edited on Sun Feb-10-08 10:59 PM by Bicoastal
--but to cut n' paste talking points from Hillary's various websites. And you couldn't even do THAT right.

Every statement you've uttered in the short time since you became a member reflects this--the way you randomly interject her talking points into each comment, whether pertinent or not. There's no personality behind it--just the whirring mechanism of a campaign machine.

All of us can see right through you. I don't know EXACTLY what you are, but it doesn't make me feel any warmer or fuzzier about HRC right about now.

52. The ad cut out the context
This has been all hashed out previously. This is from back in '06, his view has been consistent.

"Even so, Obama said that although he “would not shy away from a debate about single-payer,” right now he is “not convinced that it is the best way to achieve universal healthcare.”

http://davidsirota.com/index.php/mr-obama-goes-to-washington/

He's the one that introduced an Illinois constitutional amendment to make health care a right. He's the one who passed health care legislation in Illinois that expanded service and increased the quality of care. Hillary hasn't done anything on health care. She hasn't accomplished anything in 8 years. If she were my senator, I'd consider voting her out.

69. Nope
My name is Tim Cooper and I'm a 27 year old Chess Teacher from Nashville who thinks that this country is headed for a big big problem, and I don't want MSNBC and rich people who don't need the help Hillary will offer getting her elected on a free pass. I don't want to look in the mirror and say "you should have spoken up" when we're the last country to not make any commitment to Universal Health Care. I'm not Irish Catholic like Micheal Moore, so my love for Hillary isn't forbidden. I am not morally prohibited from voting for her because she joined congress in sending our resolution to the UN which enabled the Iraq war. I don't care that's she is fiscally conservative and socially liberal. I care about getting things done, because we're only guaranteed 4-8 years, and while Obama's getting to know the job, we could have someone who already knows it working for us on day one. I know BO supporters HATE that argument, and I know why... because it is VALID.

Would be to call her from his Oval Office and say... How were you going to do this, Hillary?

31. "tax cuts they don't need and didn't ask for"
I think that that phrase was used by many of the 2004 candidates for President and even Bill Clinton then - in addition to several Senators - it's not that original.

How do you know HRC "knows how to implement her own policy". Obama DID implement a health insurance plan in Illinois - HRC failed. (and don't tell me about S-CHIP - Kennedy and Hatch implemented that, not her.)

and I support neither Hillary or Obama at the moment.
However, I am tired of the utter garbage that is being put on greatest page lately.

70. Actually, yeah.
Obama released his last May, if I'm not mistaken. But Hillary's full plan wasn't released until August/September.

Please feel free to correct the dates if I have them wrong.
