top 3 things about Obama, Hillary, and GD:P.

just my top 3 in no particular order (please note that these are not political, nor are they intended to be. there is plenty of heavy discussion about the politics and etc right here in GDPolitics. please simply consider this some random observations of a now uncommitted voter of the dem variety)

Obama:

1) i really like his sense of humor
2) i like that he is young, vibrant, and good-looking
3) i like to listen to him speak (on television - which is an interesting thing - he comes across better on TV than any other candidate i can recall from all the years i've listened to candidates on TV. i've been amazed at how different a politician can come across IRL vs on the small screen. Obama seems to have bridged something).

Hillary:

1) i really just like Hillary - it's impossible to be a woman of a certain age and not feel camaraderie with Hillary. we know so much of her life experiences - and we share them.
2) i like that she doesn't let things from her past deter her from pursuing her goals
3) i like that she is a good mother

General Discussion: Politics:

1) awhile ago, i posted that i got to vote for the candidate i really wanted and that there was no way that anyone anywhere could ever chastise me for that vote, that i would never ever have to re-consider my vote in hindsight (i voted for Kucinich in the MI primary) and that i could face the rest of the primary season and on into the general in a state of calm and peace of mind. so i don't get caught up in the passion and venom - i can just read what you all have to say and go on my merry way :-) to me, it's all good...or bad, really. either way.
2) GDPolitics makes me laugh with all the spinning, hypocrisy, lying, silliness, ugliness, and lack of civility (all three) - (when it doesn't make me sad)
3) all the kool-aid!
