unbecoming. For what I imagine is the overwhelming majority of Obama supporters on this board, including myself, we struggled mightily with the decision about whom to support, so an Obama defeat would mean a mix of emotions. Obviously, since we have chosen to support him, there would be a net of joy, but Hillary would make a damn good president. Please, I beg you, respect Hillary Clinton and her supporters. I would expect and hope that Hillary supporters would return the favor in any scenario, but that isn't the point.

2. Thank you... I too supported Obama in the caucus, but...
I respect Hillary and the choice was difficult and not without considerable anguish. Save your Schadenfreude for the REPUGs. Let's treat our candidates with the respect they deserve--even the one(s) you don't support.

thanks so much to whomever remembered me with a heart! :loveya:

4. I'm enjoying the wins, but haven't said anything about
However, I do expect a torrent of "in your face" posts when Clinton does take a big state.

We'll see. Either way, I'm happy with both candidates.

5. I agree its not smart in the long term

Those that crash our celebratory threads are not representative of the Clinton campaign.

6. No gloating, I'm taking nothing for granted after New Hampshire
If he wins both Ohio and Texas then maybe I'll start celebrating a little bit. I may kick a few threads that had totally off predictions but I think that's all in good fun.

7. Agreed. It's time to come together.
We can't afford to drive away any fellow Democrats this year.

8. As an on-the-fencer
I really appreciate seeing these kinds of threads from Obama supporters. Some of his more - um - "enthusiastic" fans have a very off-putting way about them that does their candidate a real disservice. This is really refreshing.

Carry on...

9. The number of overzealous posts come from an
Inordinate and unpresentative number of posters. Please keep this in mind. DU has a potential to be very poisonous.
