Attn John Edwards keep your endorsement to yourself
Why does he need to have all these secret meetings between the two? Just grow a set John and pick one of them or just stay out of it.

1. He's the father of four children. I expect he already has a set.
The meetings are secret likely by request of all parties.

No laws are being broken.

All's well.

16. Do you really mean that? Edwards is a great man no matter who he endorses.

8. I don't think he wants to commit until he knows who will win.........
I'm sure he wants a cabinet post with whomever the winner is. Edwrds would make a great Attorney General. I don't know if he is qualified for the Supreme Court.

It's just his awful luck that this race may go down to the wire and he my have to hold off on his endorsement until it's too late to do him any good.

12. As they stand now, neither deserves his endorsement
As they currently present their platform, neither deserves JRE's endorsement - their platforms are weak with regards to JRE's issues and focus, especially Obamas.

Unfortunately, JRE may have painted himself into a corner given his campaign strategy to cast himself and Obama as the candidates of change (because Obama talks change, but really has little experience and provides no substantive evidence of how he intends to bring about change).

I am an Edwards supporter (and delegate). I want him to be very very careful before endorsing H or O. He needs firm committments and a place in the next administration. Anything less, then he should not endorse.

When (if) he makes a choice, he better provide a detailed explanation why he made the choice he did given Obama's weaknesses (of which there are many)and Hillary's status quo label, and her entrenchment in the corrupt system.

15. Well, John Edwards seems thoughtful to me. I'm hunching that he will
see what either candidate can offer toward his concerns about economic democracy generally and proposals to remediate poverty particularly.

Thank you for being a John Edwards delegate.

10. Have any of the other former candidates endorsed
other than Kucinich at that one caucus? (I'm not saying that they haven't, I'm just not aware if they have.) I think it's Edwards' prerogative to endorse whenever and whomever he wants to or not at all.

Then I realized this was not written by a true DU'er and isn't worth the time.

14. Maybe he wants to re-affirm their commitments to his core issues before he commits?
As for doing it "in secret," what do you want him to do, go on TV with them? Sheesh.

Personally, I'll respect John's decision, including deciding not to endorse; however I've already chosen my 2nd candidate.
