John Edwards endorsement news
I apologize if this has been on GD:P as a thread - I follow "fairly" closely and haven't seen it. I'm posting the news because I was originally a John Edwards supporter, I continue to respect the man, and was deeply touched by his campaign.

CNN reported tonight that John Edwards has met with Hillary Clinton and is set to meet with Barack Obama tomorrow (now today I guess). These is fueling speculation that he is moving closer to an making and endorsement, and speculation that it will come sooner rather than later. Political analysts interviewed during the segment seemed to think that if Edwards comes away with a strong preference between the two candidates he would be more likely to endorse now when it could have the greatest impact during the close race.

I'm sorry I have no link to print source - this was on CNN television tonight.

1. nervous nail biting!
I love John. I wasn't too excited over who's left, but I believe they will be the next president, unless John is chosen at the convention (one can dream), but I favor Obama at this point, and I have to say, because of John's experience and close workings during this process, all he knows, and being directly around these two numerous times, and some closed meetings, I will more than likely support who he backs, and do so with a little cash.

2. I'm not excited by who's left either!
Yes, I will be very interested in what he has to say and who he endorses. If he does endorse someone, it will help me choose. He'll definitely influence my decision. I wish we had Gore or Edwards!

HE was the one I wanted... and still is!

3. Will he pledge his delegates to the designate?
I have decided that even if I do determine which candidate I am going to vote for in the Ohio primary, I am not going to acknowledge it here.
I see so many comments back and forth lately that I would like to remain neutral between Obama and Clinton. I will support which ever one gets the nomination and do what I can to help them get elected in November.

I wish Edwards message could have been heard above the media screaming Hillary, Barack, he had a good message that is more or less lost.

4. I don't think it was completely lost - I think he's pushed both campaigns topically a bit
I hope so, at least.

As to your question - I didn't hear anything on CNN either way, though I know that's the million dollar question.
