Strongarming Superdelegates
by: Matt Stoller
Mon Feb 11, 2008 at 09:00
I heard from a very reliable source that Chuck Schumer and Mark Penn are really pressuring superdelegates to come out for Hillary. They are also pushing hard to reinstate Michigan and Florida. I imagine the arguments they are using are that Obama can't win, and that Hillary is prepared to take on the right because she has credibility on national security.

2. Chuck Schumer, now there's a guy who's in touch with the heartland.
:sarcasm:

I'm sick of 50+1 strategies. Go away Penn; go away Schumer.

4. Cant win it by winning the voters, eh Clinton?
If you do end up successful, and you obtain the nomination by these tactics, will you really be the winner when the party is fractured just to satisfy your ambitions?

5. This is what you call the Clinton Political Machine
I'm telling you, they are going to steal this from Obama.

6. You missed the part where
Floridians have sent emails and called Senator Nelson's office, the florida democratic party, representatives, newspapers, etc. There have been a lot of people doing this. It's not just isolated to Penn/Schumer, and For The Record, I don't know if Penn/Schummer have done this or not. I haven't spoken to them personally, LOL.
